Brainwaves: The First Three

Hoo boy, here we are waaaaay back at the beginning. Drawn on printer paper with crappy pens and scanned and then stuck in manila envelopes and mailed all over. King Features picked em up for their feature called The New Breed. Thanks, King Features, for that first little bit of encouragement.

License tons o my cartoons at CartoonStock. They’re the best. More Brainwaves here.

First cartoon I ever published. King Features put it in their feature, The New Breed. I freaked out and ran around and emptied out all the newspaper machines.
Second cartoon. Also King Features, as you can see by the "New Breed" note at the top. April 1993. Whew.
Third cartoon, as designated by the "003." I used to submit these on paper in manila envelopes and had this clever format for doing that. Drew right on the paper. So classy and high tech.
